I’m Diomelys, owner and founder of Pure Essence by Mely. I am a mother and registered nurse by day and a small business owner by night. 

My passion for natural skincare began after the birth of my son, Sebastian. Feeling as though I couldn’t find something that would cater to the needs of my newborn baby’s skin, I took it upon myself to create body butter and soap bars that were gentle, nourishing, and made with pure, high-quality ingredients—my breast milk. What began as a passion project flourished into something I couldn’t imagine.
